Take a space flight and discover how gravity effects the universe with Life Science Centre’s new planetarium show Falling With Style which showcases the first images released from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope!
Space Zone adventures
What’s it like to be the boss of Mission Control? And how do astronauts poo in space? Find out when you walk through Life Science Centre’s replica of the International Space Station!
3…2…1… Blast Off!
Help the centre’s Explainers return their spaceship safely back to planet Earth with live science show 3…2…1… Blast Off!
Make an air-powered rocket
Get hands-on in the Making Studios by building your very own air-powered rocket! You’ll get to test-launch your creation to see how high it flies before taking it home!
Rocket science
Stop by the Experiment Zone and learn how to make your own rocket fuel by mixing chemicals together! (Ages 7+ only)
Gaia
Marvel at Life Science Centre’s amazing, 7-metre wide replica of planet Earth and head to the upper level to grab an easel and draw your own Earth-inspired artwork!
Under 7s Fun
There’s plenty of activities for younger kids too including discovery backpacks, three pop-up play stations and the Play Zone!
Better yet, Life Science Centre recently introduced its Summer Saver ticket which offers 3 visits for the cost of just one ticket. That should make taking part in all of the Lightyear Space Adventure activities over the summer a little easier on parents’ wallets!
