Explore the rise of steam power and industry in Britain through the works of 19th century artist J.M.W. Turner with Laing Art Gallery's newest exhibition, Turner: Art, Industry & Nostalgia.

Turner's much-loved painting The Fighting Temeraire, on loan from the National Gallery as part of its National Treasures programme, forms the centrepiece of the exhibition which includes over 20 other works by the acclaimed painter alongside works by contemporary artists including Tacita Dean and John Kippin.
