Celebrate the life and works of artist Nerys Johnson with Laing Art Gallery's new exhibition Disability and Practice.
Exploring her lived experience of rheumatoid arthritis and the impact of disability on her artistic practice, the exhibition features several the vibrant, intense and abstract floral works she was best known for and a recorded performance by Surface Area Dance Theatre - Down Amongst the Plants - that pays tribute to engagement with nature.
