The Hatton Gallery is welcoming a brand-new exhibition, The Potter’s Canvas: Ceramics and Painting in the 20th Century, in place from September 2026 to January 2027.

Examining how 20th-century British ceramicists used drawing, painting and mark-making to transform the surface of clay, the exhibition features over 70 works including pieces by the likes of James Tower, Alison Britton and Bernard Leach.
