Helmet, Sword, Scooter… Charge!: Discovery Museum

Let the little ones go crazy with a armour building workshop that teaches them what the world was like many years ago. Chalk take over the Great Hall to celebrate the new arrival of the latest gallery Charge! The Story of England’s Northern Calvary. You can even create your very own cavalry banner in this exciting interactive workshop. Learn sword skills and hop on the scooter ‘horses’ under the command of the Drill Sergeant.
Sleepy warriors can find some rest in the cardboard base camp if the day gets a little bit too much for them. Great music will be playing all day at this fabulous PLAY+INVENT workshop. Fun for all the family!
