Smajo Beso shares the story of his family's escape from Bosnia in the new exhibition From Bosnia to Tyneside at Newcastle's Discovery Museum this July.

Through film, family photographs and personal objects, guests will follow their escape and the new life they began on Tyneside, echoing the experiences of millions affected by the Bosnian War.
