Gallery North

Gallery North opened its doors in January 2009 as an important contemporary exhibition space with vision and great potential; a public space for the free, disinterested exchange of ideas as well as for sheer visual delight.

They've hosted a programme of events providing the contemplative setting that exhibitions need but also the sense of energy, expertise and intellectual and imaginative adventure that a University teaching and learning environment can bring. 

They have been fortunate to have seen internationally-renowned artists as well as emerging home grown talent; and cutting-edge new art, as well as exhibitions such as Politics and People, of a broader, more historical nature.
