Claremont Teahouse

Opened in early 2023, Claremont Teahouse is Newcastle’s newest tea and coffee house and serves specialist tea blends, fine coffees and delicious snacks.

The teahouse boasts a prime location in the gorgeous Grade II-listed Claremont buildings on the edge of the Newcastle University campus and has already established itself as a haunt for those looking for a caffeine hit.

Its extensive tea menu features everything from fruit and herbal varieties to fine Oolong and Rooibos teas, each specially curated by experts at locally based company Love Leaf Tea. A range of coffees, hot chocolates and matcha are also served.

The food menu has plenty to keep guests fuelled throughout the day with breakfast and brunch-friendly fare, small plates, sandwiches and heartier plates served alongside delicious bagels drafted in from fellow local business Dot Bagels are available all day and the option to take afternoon tea from 2pm.
