Newcastle United have once again advanced to the Carabao Cup Final and are set to go head-to-head with Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on 16th March.
It’s big news for the Toon Army, but if you aren’t lucky enough to have tickets to the match then fear not because there are plenty of places to catch the Carabao Cup Final right here in Newcastle.
FRATE, High Bridge
Open-air hangout FRATE is bringing back its fanzone for the Carabao Cup Final this March, much to the delight of NUFC fans. They recently added a fully retractable roof and heaters, so even if it starts to chuck it down you can still stay warm and dry while watching the match! Central Park Fanzone, Times Square
Quite possibly the biggest sport fanzone in the city, Central Park Fanzone is back to celebrate the Carabao Cup Final in style this March. Its huge heated marquee will be home to massive bars and tasty street food vendors to keep fans fed and watered and there'll be a pre-match party featuring a Sam Fender tribute act to warm up the crowd. Utilita Arena Outdoor Fanzone, Utilita Arena
Due to unprecedented demand, the team behind Central Park Fanzone are joining forces with Utilita Arena to host a second fanzone in the latter's car park. There'll be ice-cold pints to sip, local street food to munch on and - of course - an unbeatable buzz as the action is screen live from Wembley Stadium on a huge LED screen. There's even a family-friendly area so younger NUFC fans don't have to miss out on the fun! General admission tickets cost £15 and tickets for the family-friendly area are priced at £15 for under 18s and £10 for adults - book up via Fatsoma.
Abajo Bar & Grill, Grey Street
Newly opened Grey Street hangout Abajo Bar & Grill is gearing up to celebrate its first Carabao Cup Final and promises football fans the ultimate matchday experience! They've got TVs dotted throughout the venue to soak up all the action and it'll be open from 12pm with DJs and other entertainment to get the party started. Availability is limited though, so message the Abajo team on their Facebook or Instagram to book a table!

St James' STACK, St James' Park
Could there be a better place to watch Newcastle United beat Liverpool (fingers crossed!) than in the shadow of St James' Park? We don't think so! Open from 10am, St James' STACK is bound to be buzzing come 16th March and there'll be commentary throughout the match. It's walk-in only (no tickets required) - so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot!
Bar 52, 55 Degrees North
As one of the best sports bars in Newcastle, there’s bound to be a buzzing atmosphere at Bar 52 during the Carabao Cup Final. Huge sports screens are dotted throughout the venue, so hunker down at a table with your fellow Toon Army folk as you (hopefully!) witness NUFC trounce Liverpool! A whole host of drinks packages are also available to make it an extra-special occasion.
NX, Westgate Road
NX always goes big whenever there's a big football final and this March is no different! An electric matchday atmosphere is guaranteed as Toon Army fans arrive en masse on 16th March to watch the action unfold live on its big screen. Nestled just a short walk from NUFC’s home at St. James’ Park, Shark Club is an ideal spot for watching the match with your mates. Catch all the action on Shark Club’s big screen TVs while enjoying a pint or two and some grub from their burger-heavy menu. Wylam Brewery, Exhibition Park
Wylam Brewery are busting out the big screens for the Carabao Cup Final so you all you NUFC fans can catch the match in style. Alongside all that glorious big screen action, Wylam will also be dishing out some super tasty street food and refreshing craft beers – perfect for when you’re feeling a little hoarse after cheering on the Toon! The Assembly Rooms, Fenkle Street
Catch all the excitement of the Carabao Cup Final at The Assembly Rooms this March, with a little luxury thrown in for good measure! They're screening the big match on a giant screen and their fully licensed bar will be open for drinks with hot food on offer too. The WonderBar, The Gate
The WonderBar always has an amazing atmosphere on match days and the Carabao Cup Final will be no different. Open from 10am to 1am, they'll be showing the action on their huge HD screens and entry is free. Tables can’t be reserved though and it’s going to be a busy one, so guests are recommended to arrive early if they want to bag a seat.
DOMAIN, Northumbria University Student's Union
Hailed as the ultimate fanzone for the Carabao Cup Final, Northumbria University’s Domain venue boasts a huge capacity of over 1,400 and will be awash in black and white on 16th March. The match will be screened on Domain’s massive 10ft by 7ft screen and there’ll be pre and post match entertainment, drink deals and flag displays plus much, much more.
