Mrs. Doubtfire @ Theatre Royal
Following the production’s huge success on the West End, Mrs. Doubtfire is taking the Theatre Royal by storm this September! Jam-packed with all the heartwarming and hilarious moments you know and love from the ‘90s flick, plus fabulous new tunes and awesome dance numbers, this is a real treat for the whole family.

Niall Horan @ Utilita Arena
One for the Directioners now, as Niall Horan is set to play Newcastle’s very own Utilita Arena this month. He’ll be celebrating the release of his latest album Dinner Party, which comes hot on the heels of his recent Myles Smith collaboration Drive Safe. And with support from BBC Radio 1’s Future Artist of the Month (2023) Flowerovlove, it promises to be a brilliant night of live music.

Maisie Adam – Whatsherface @ Tyne Theatre & Opera House
Whether you recognize her from Taskmaster, A League Of Their Own or Last One Laughing, Masie Adam’s is back on-stage in September with a brand-new show Whatsherface. Expect plenty of her trademark wit (and maybe some angry outbursts along the way for good measure!) when she arrives at Tyne Theatre & Opera House.

Jane McDonald is trading the sea for the stage with her all-new show Living the Dream at the Toon’s O2 City Hall. Grab some sequins and those cowboy boots… you’ll need ‘em!

The Bootleg Eagles @ Wylam Brewery
Another welcome edition to Newcastle’s live music calendar, as The Bootleg Eagles make a very welcome return to Wylam Brewery. They’ll be taking audiences on a musical journey from The Eagle’s country-rock roots to global chart-toppers. Since their last set, they’ve been selling out venues across the UK, so we’d grab tickets for this one while they’re still about!

Following the band’s 25th anniversary performance of XTRMNTR at London’s Roundhouse last year, and their incredible Come Ahead world tour, Primal Scream are back in Newcastle this September! Meanwhile over at Live Theatre, North East playwright Alison Carr has been inspired by the notorious “Canoe Man” case with the brand-new show All At Sea.
