SUMMER SCHOOL FOR 12-15 YEAR-OLDS
From Monday 23 - Saturday 28 July, 12-15 year-olds are invited to join a play and perform summer school! You’ll make a show in just under a week, and you’ll perform on stage at Northern Stage! Pick up new skills, make new friends and get your theatre fix this summer, working with industry professionals to compose songs, create posters and bring your stories to life!
FOLKWORKS YOUTH SUMMER SCHOOL 2018
An inspirational week of musical theatre workshops for budding actors, actresses, dancers and singers! Pop along to the Tyne Theatre & Opera House from Monday 23 - Friday 27 July for a fun-filled summer school for youngsters aged 8-16. Enchanted Entertainment promise to offer an exciting and energetic schedule, finishing with two performances on stage in front of a live audience on Saturday 28 July!
HOLIDAY FILM SCHOOLS: ANIMATION
Get a taste of animation at Tyneside Cinema this summer from Monday 23 - Friday 27 July, Monday 13 - Friday 17 August or Tuesday 28 - Friday 31 August. These fab film-making workshops will give youngsters the skills needed to devise and create short-stop frame animation!
3-DAY SUMMER ART ACADEMY FOR 7-10 YEAR OLDS
Have you got crafty little ones? Budding artists in the house? Book them in for an inspiring Summer Art Academy with our friends at the Laing Art Gallery! It’s the perfect opportunity for youngsters to explore the new Enchanted Gardens exhibition, picking up hints and tips along the way before creating their very own enchanted garden using acrylic, sculpture, watercolours and more! There will be a mini exhibition at the end of the three-day session, showcasing the young artists’ final pieces. What a way to make new friends and have fun with art!
