Newcastle Cocktail Week: The Ultimate Cocktail Crawl Experience

Heading out for Newcastle Cocktail Week? Check out our handy cocktail crawl guide

Last updated:

Newcastle Cocktail Week returns for its fourth edition from Friday 20th March to Sunday 29th March 2026, and it’s a must-do for cocktail enthusiasts with over 50 city centre bars and restaurants offering unbeatable deals on drinks for ten whole days.

With so many venues to visit and deals to enjoy, we’ve put together a handy guide exploring who is taking part area-by-area – a Newcastle Cocktail Week Crawl, if you will – so you can really make a night (or several nights of it!) this March.

Bigg Market & High Bridge

It should come as no surprise that an area as famous for its nightlife as the Bigg Market has plenty of bars taking part in Newcastle Cocktail Week.

We’re kicking off our Bigg Market cocktail crawl at WC Newcastle which boasts one of the city’s most unique settings – a subterranean space that was once a Victorian public toilet! Their signature Cocktail Week sip is the Forbidden Word – a vodka-based concoction flavoured with pear syrup, alpine botanicals, honeyed benedictine and citrus snap priced at £7.

Next, head over to Twenty Twenty, a Bigg Market hotspot so named for its 20 signature cocktails and legendary 20” pizzas. Try the Posh Spice (pear vodka, elderflower liqueur, cloudy apple juice, lime, demerara reduction, green chilli, ginger beer) for just £5 and don’t forget that Cocktail Week wristband holders can get any of their 12” pizzas for just £10 too!

Conveniently located just next door is Louie’s Liquor Store where you can enjoy their Southern Passion (Southern Comfort, passionfruit syrup, passionfruit puree, cranberry juice) for only a fiver, alongside a limited-edition Pigalo’s taster platter and whole host of other cocktail deals exclusive for wristband holders.

Hooters’ Hugo Rita Hooters’ Hugo Rita

Hop on over to the other side of the Bigg Market to Hooters who’ll be dishing out their Hugo Rita (Don Angel Tequila, triple sec, lime juice, elderflower cordial, cucumber, mint) for £6 a pop, or to their neighbour Passing Clouds for their tangy Midori Sour (Midori, vodka, lime, aquafaba), also priced at £6.

Take a little detour down Cloth Market and to Revolución de Cuba where their £6 El Viajero – a fruity number with lime, mango juice and two different types of Appleton Estate Rum – will whisk you away to the warmer climes of Havana.

Finish your Bigg Market cocktail crawl with a walk along High Bridge where you’ll find two more Cocktail Week venues – WC Gin Closet and YOLO Townhouse. The former, will be serving Orange You Tempted (gin, white cacao, orange liqueur, vanilla, cream, fresh orange juice) for £7, while the latter has a cocktail perfect for those with a sweet tooth – the Candy Pants made with Absolut Raspberri Vodka, Chambord, lemon juice, strawberry puree and cranberry juice and priced at just £5.

Mosley Street & Collingwood Street

Thanks to a string of bars all within easy walking (or stumbling!) distance from each other, you could certainly make a night of it on Mosley Street and Collingwood Street this Newcastle Cocktail Week!

Grab your amigos and say “hola” to Motel Mexicana’s Frozen Blueberry Lemon Margarita for just £6. Made with tequila blanco, triple sec, blueberry puree, lemon juice and sugar syrup it sounds deliciously refreshing – just beware of the inevitable brain freeze! And, if you’re feeling peckish, wristband holders can get three tacos and a side for just £15 too.

Head westwards and get ready for a criss-cross crawl of Collingwood Street, starting at Big Apple-inspired bar Manahatta. Alongside their signature Cherry Sour priced at £6 (Amaretto Disaronno, Montzi Sour Cherry, 42Below Vodka, cherry and vanilla syrup, lemon juice, foamer), Cocktail Week wristband holders can also enjoy a trio of selected Manahatta cocktails for just £7.50 each!

Revolution’s Bubblegum Daiquiri Revolution’s Bubblegum Daiquiri

Hop over the road to ChachaBuchi who’ll be mixing up not only their £6.50 signature cocktail (the Morello Cherry Sour with Titos Vodka, cherry puree, lemon puree and lemonade) but also offering an exclusive Cocktail Week menu featuring plenty more incredible concoctions.

Skip back over to the other side of Collingwood Street and you’ll find The Vampire Rabbit, a cocktail connoisseur’s heaven which’ll be mixing up the Mango Monarch (Satari Rum, passionfruit liqueur, lime juice, vanilla syrup, mango and pineapple juice, coconut milk) for £7 a pop this Cocktail Week.

Back across the street once more and we’re popping into Revolution to try their £6 Bubblegum Daiquiri. Crafted from its very own bubblegum-flavour vodka, apple juice, bubblegum syrup, lemon and flying saucers (yes, the sherbet-filled sweets!), it’s a retro-inspired sip you’re bound to love.

Neville Street, Pink Lane, Westgate Road & Rutherford Street

If you’re still raring to go after all those lovely cocktails, may we suggest a wander over to Neville Street and the surrounding areas for some more delicious drinks?

Swing by Jalou for a taste of their £6 Jalou Zombie, their own take on a classic Zombie cocktail featuring three types of rum, passionfruit gomme, fresh lime juice, mango puree, pineapple juice and the ‘Jalou Special Zombie Mix’ – and you’ll have to sip up to find out exactly what that is!

Located a little along Neville Street, Tickets is serving a Spicy Margarita mixed with chilli-infused agave for £5 plus a chicken club sandwich with fries for only a tenner if you’re feeling hungry.

Stunning Central Station bar The Centurion is getting in on the Newcastle Cocktail Week action too with their fruity Peach Cobbler (peach puree, Bulleit Bourbon, Disaronno, fresh lemon juice, vanilla syrup) – a steal at just £6, and wristband holders can fill up on their ‘two light bites for £12’ deal too!

Newcastle Quayside

Of course, it wouldn’t be a cocktail crawl in the Toon without a trip down to our wonderful Quayside and let us just say that Newcastle Cocktail Week-goers are in for a treat with tonnes of Quayside bars taking part this March!

Let’s kick off the Quayside cocktail fun with a trip to Colonel Porter’s on Dean Street to try their brilliantly named Simply The Zest signature sip made with vanilla vodka, limoncello, lemon juice and vanilla syrup and costing just £5 a pop.
