Halloween Murder Mystery @ The County Hotel
A night of mystery, mischief and murder is in store at The County Hotel this Halloween! Tuck into a tasty two-course meal as the murderous mayhem unfolds around you, solve the blood-curdling clues and work out who the culprit is before the dastardly killer strikes again. Tyneside Cinema’s annual Halloween All-Nighters are a hoot for horror fans with each of its screens showing spine-chilling classics throughout the night, each with a different theme. Tickets are selling fast as per usual, but you can still book sets for blood-curling flicks including Trick 'r Treat, The Wicker Man and American Psycho.

Dead Men’s Eyes @ The Lit & Phil
Scare yourself silly this Halloween at The Lit & Phil with Dead Men's Eyes, a spine-chilling evening of spooky storytelling featuring two tales from M. R. James, the master of the English ghost story. Presented by Nunkie Theatre Company and performed by R. M. Lloyd Parry, you'll shiver and quiver as a pair of old binoculars reveal the grisly past of a seemingly bucolic bit of English countryside in A View from a Hill and recoil in horror as an antiquarian disturbs a devilish creature while hunting for treasure in an ancient well in The Treasure of Abbot Thomas.
