An exciting new concept bar is coming to the streets of NE1!
Situated on Market Lane, just off Pilgrim Street, Horticulture will be a three- storey dining and drinking establishment specialising in fresh, organic, locally sourced produce throughout. Offering unique, tasty, forward-thinking food, cocktails & coffee but with a focus on cultivating as much as possible from the source. Due to open this autumn, Horticulture is one spot we’re keeping a firm eye on! What's more? The exciting terrace is being revamped, making it suitable to be enjoyed all year round and creating an indoor / outdoor space that oozes vibrant bohemian vibes. Keep your eyes peeled for this one - it's going to be a beauty!

Heartwarming Story

In a different vein, the NE1 magazine comes to you with a plea this issue, we need to harness our readership to find a person with an amazing story! Having A Party Limited, a unique gift shop in the Grainger Market, recently had a visitor who told the story of their mother’s amazing correspondence with a Chinese pen pal in the 1930s, and how they were reunited after many years through a chance occurrence. Now after re-telling this story to a British film producer, Having A Party need to find the customer, can you help? If this rings a bell, let us know on Twitter, @NewcastleNE1, or send a message to Having A Party on Facebook.
