The sounds of the swinging Gypsy Jazz of 1930s Paris comes to life at Sage Gateshead this Saturday! Don’t miss the chance to see Emma Fisk’s Hot Club du Nord, celebrating the classic repertoire of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
Comedy fun
Two new dramatic plays, packed with plenty of comedy to have you chuckling the night away, take to the Alphabetti Theatre stage this Saturday. Pushing the boundaries as far as improv can go, The Suggestibles and more will have you laughing until your belly hurts!

Brilliant building
Creative youngsters are invited to Discovery Museum this Sunday for a cardboard city craft session - where they’ll join the museum’s inventor to make the greenest city ever! Using lego, cardboard and plenty of creativity to construct mini buildings, little ones will add to the venue’s model metropolis.
Farmyard fun
Go for a stroll along the Tyne towards Ouseburn Farm - where families can get to know pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, lizards and more, set within meadows, ponds and woodlands. A taste of country life, right here in our city - what’s not to love?

Cameras at the ready, folks! Get up, go out and enjoy our glorious city this Sunday, as its iconic bridges and buildings sparkle in the striking summer sun.
