Calling all astronauts - there’s a rocket-fuelled extravaganza ready for launch this February half-term, and we wouldn't want you to miss it! The team at Life Science Centre are preparing for all things extra-terrestrial and we’ve all been invited! Immerse yourself in the brand-new live science theatre show, Destination Space; find out about cutting-edge satellites built right here in the North East, explore the Universe at the incredible Space Zone and capture the moment with a selfie in Mission Control! If that's not enough, young space cadets can create their own air-powered rockets, get up close and personal with a real satellite before gazing up to the stars inside the Planetarium.
