Best Bottomless Brunch in Newcastle

The long days of summer invite a languorous approach to socialising, when sitting in a patch of sunshine in a cosy cafe or beer garden and chatting with friends is a weekend (or even mid-week!) prerequisite. To make the most of these days, bottomless brunch is what you’re looking for, and Newcastle has a plethora of options from sophisticated soirées to mid-morning delights which could turn into an all night party! If your summer hasn’t started yet, consider it about to be kicked off with this little lot…

Twenty Twenty, Bigg Market

One of the city’s best spots for cocktails thanks to their menu of signature mixes (there’s 20 of them, in case you were wondering about the name!), Twenty Twenty also serve up massive 20” pizzas, so their bottomless brunch offering is ideal for sharing! Grab yourself bottomless Prosecco, mimosas, Bellinis and beer with a 20” pizza and popcorn for just £28.95 per person or, for an extra £10, upgrade to their Boujee Brunch for bottomless cocktails. There’s a 90 minute limit between midday and 6pm.

All Bar One, Grey Street

Stylish and spirited, All Bar One is a great option for a girly catch up or a special date. Available every day until 4.30pm for £30, drink options include Prosecco, Tanqueray London dry gin and tonic, Aperol Spritz or flavoured daiquiris. Their mouthwatering menu is made for sharing – try the tasty chicken quesadilla, All Bar One skewers or one of their signature burgers.

Turtle Bay, The Gate

Bring the glorious Caribbean a little closer with Turtle Bay’s two hours of unlimited cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe and Prosecco (every day until 3pm, until 5pm on Sunday) for £31.50. All their cocktails are included in the offer, and you can choose from delicious brunch dishes like the Big Kingston Grill Down classic breakfast with a Caribbean twist, burgers or roti rolls with an option to upgrade to a main menu dish too.

Old George Inn, Old George Yard

The city’s oldest pub has charm aplenty, and their bottomless brunch offer is wallet friendly to boot! For £25 per person, settle in for two hours of unlimited drinks from their great selection including Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, Amstel, Peroni and cocktails including espresso Martini, passion fruit Bellini or virgin mojito. Their brunch menu is just as tasty and includes crispy French toast sticks, a filling breakfast stack, smashed avocado on toast and traditional full English. Options to upgrade mean you can dig into burgers, pizzas and craft beers.

Las Iguanas, Grey Street

Get exotic with Latin American flavours and a great meal option at Las Iguanas, where you can choose one starter and a main course from their extensive menu, washed down with unlimited Prosecco or draft beer for £29.95. Our favourites include marinated chicken wings or fiesta ensalada to start and their delicious shellfish moqueca with prawns, mussels, clams and peppers for the main course. Upgrade to cocktails for an extra £5 (or indulge on Sunday-Wednesday, and you’ll get an upgrade for free!). Their offer is available for 90 minute slots on Saturday until 4.30pm and 6.30pm every other day. Keep an eye out for late night sessions on selected bank holiday weekends too!

Aveika, Sandhill

For something totally different, give the classy Aveika’s brunch deal a try. Go old school with Cuban flavours and retro decadence at Castros’ bottomless brunch, where you can enjoy 90 minutes of unlimited mojitos, rumosas, Prosecco and beer alongside three dishes from their superb menu. Choose between a Cubanos special sandwich of ham, peppered beef and spicy cheese or a grilled cheese sandwich, one of their homemade tapas dishes (we vote for the Port of Prince stew with pancetta, chorizo and paprika coated pork belly) and grab some churros for dessert. All for just £30, bargain! The offer runs every Wednesday and Thursday (12pm-6pm) and Friday-Sunday (12pm-4pm).

No. 28, Nelson Street

The secret’s out about No. 28’s offer, as it’s fast becoming the place to be seen on the brunch circuit. That’s probably down to their scrummy tapas offering and high quality Prosecco (with the bottle left at your table). Their range of tapas dishes include homemade meatballs, garlic prawns, chorizo and chickpea stew and Toulouse sausage and five bean cassolet, plus you’ll get patatas bravas, bread and salad for the table, making it a great option for socialising with friends.
