We’ve been patiently waiting for the month of April ever since the government’s roadmap to cautiously ease lockdown restrictions in England was announced. April 12 holds a lot of promise with the reopening of retail, dining outdoors and saying goodbye to our lockdown locks. We’ve rounded up 10 things we’re looking forward to this month…

GREY STREET GATHERING

Greenery incoming! We're thrilled that our Grey Street Gathering is returning to its prime spot in the city centre this month and we can’t wait to check it out. Our lush Grey Street Gathering provides a tranquil place to chill out and take in one of the city's most spectacular streets. We’re well underway, gearing up for an early April launch, so whether you swing by on your lunch break, rest your legs mid-shopping trip, or meet your chums to soak up a bit of spring/summer sun in the city, we can’t wait to welcome you all.

This Newcastle icon has built a huge following over the years and the High Bridge store is a landmark when it comes to indie shopping in the city. The Union gang have been keeping our wardrobes stocked thanks to their speedy UK next working day delivery and click & collect service throughout lockdown - a fabulous example of NE1 businesses adapting to the situation and keeping customers kitted out! Vintage shopping is the best way to elevate your wardrobe with unique pieces and save a few pennies in the process. Everybody say hello to The Vintage Scene - a brand new store setting up shop in NE1 this spring! This Ridley Place newbie is set to be ready for the city's retail reopening on 12 April and we can't wait to check it out! The Vintage Scene is all about designer labels and statement pieces from the 80s, 90s and 00s. If you’re looking to add to your collection of Lacoste t-shirts, McQueen-esque embroidered knits, printed Nike tees or a sweet denim jacket, this place will have you kitted out in style in no time!
