Watch England’s First World Cup at North East’s Biggest Fanzone

The World Cup may be taking place in America but North East fans can watch the England games at Times Square – without ever leaving the region.

More than 2000 people are expected to gather at Newcastle’s ultimate fanzone, to watch the England squad – hopefully – emerge victorious.

And it will be the icing on the cake for what promises to be a fantastic experience, courtesy of We Are Fanzones, run by North East experts, EVNT Live.

A giant screen has been set up and there will be a range of food and drink outlets which ensure the matches are enjoyed in real style.

And to get the party going everywhere who buys a ticket in advance and is there for the pre-match build up – which begins at 7pm – will receive a free pint.

The doors will open this Wednesday (17 June) for England’s game against Croatia and then on Tuesday 23 June when they play Ghana, followed by the England v Panama match on 27 June.

A large amount of seating has been installed on site, with shelter also available in case of bad weather.

Tickets are £6.50p each and available from www.wearefanzones.co.uk

“The fanzone at Times Square has become the place to be over the past few years and it will be a fantastic experience for anyone wanting to watch England play,” said Mike Hesketh of EVNT Live.

“We know the atmosphere is going to be absolutely electric and we’ve gone all out to make the site look brilliant and ensure everyone has a memorable night.

“We can’t wait for people to come along and just be part of these historic matches.”
