TYNESIDE CAFÉ VOTED BEST RESTAURANT….

A Newcastle restaurant and café has taken the local top spot on one of the world’s leading review sites – despite being in business for less than two months. The Dancing Pepper Mill Restaurant and Café at Scotswood Road is currently number one on Trip Advisor for Newcastle, beating more than 800 other eateries in the city. The restaurant – which offers a range of traditional dishes along with favourites such as pizzas, pastas and burgers – has achieved a top score from every reviewer, shooting it straight to the top slot. “It’s amazing that we’ve achieved such a high rating in such a short period of time,” said owner Paul Rowe. “I think it’s a combination of offering freshly cooked food, good value and a range of dishes which are real crowd pleasers.” Reviewers have praised the café for its friendly service and its generous portions since it opened its doors in November. “We think we’ve got the balance just right,” said Paul. “We’ve made a point of catering for all tastes and that’s clearly been appreciated.” For further information visit www.dancingpeppermill.co.uk
