Tickets Now On Sale - Hottest New Socialising Venue Coming To Newcastle Announces Opening Date

The wait is nearly over — Competitive socialising phenomenon Fayre Play has officially launched tickets for its brand-new Newcastle site at The Gate, opening Friday 29th August.

Located in the heart of the city, Fayre Play Newcastle will offer a one-of-a-kind fairground experience with a competitive twist — perfect for group nights out, date nights and team socials.

Set to be one of the most exciting additions to the city’s entertainment scene, the nostalgic venue will bring fan-favourite games & cocktails from the popular Glasgow and Edinburgh outlets straight to the North East.

Guests can grab a funfair-themed cocktail before heading to a booth to soak up the vibes and enjoy sets from the resident DJ. Those feeling competitive can take nine super-competitive games to win an iconic Fayre Play plushie duck, with the games including;

Push the Button – Lights flash, nerves shake – only the fastest reactions win in this test of timing.

Duck Hunt – Go beak-to-beak with the clock in this high-speed hook-a-duck frenzy. How many can you nab in 90 seconds?

Skee-Baw – Roll, bounce, and aim for the high scorers in this fairground take on a timeless arcade favourite.

It’s nostalgic fun paired with fierce competition — and every win brings you closer to plush prize glory.

In addition, Fayre Play have teamed up with local legends BURGER-DROP to bring a mouth-watering twist to its food menu. Founded in 2020, Burger-Drop use freshly ground meat, along with signature brioche buns crafted to their own recipe to build burgers from the ground up.  They’ll be serving up their iconic beef, chicken & vegan burgers along with loaded fries & chicken tenders. 

The venue is a vibrant, Insta-worthy wonderland made for letting loose. And for those planning corporate parties, team-building events, or full venue takeovers, Fayre Play offers private hire for up to 200 guests, complete with breakout spaces and tailored packages.
