Chris Cross, 26, from the West End of Newcastle has announced he will host a World Class Variety Show in Newcastle's Tyne Theatre & Opera House -
He has promised the people of Newcastle that he will ''Improve the Cabaret Culture'' in the region and give them the biggest variety show that's happened in the North East in over a decade.

I will be performing my Upside Don Escapology stunt. I fractured my hand in rehearsals, but I'm now on the mend and on track to bringing a breathtaking act to the stage. Earlier this month, Cross had to cancel a mini-tour with Paul Daniels & Debbie McGee, due to Daniels's diagnosis of a terminal brain tumour.
The Magical duo were to appear in Yorkshire & Newcastle following a Sold Out ''Paul Daniels & Chris Cross Magic Show'' in Newcastle last year at ''The Quayside Cabaret Club''
Daniels was a big influence on Cross's career, offering him advice and even came up with his stage name ''Chris Cross''
CROSS: ''It's been such a blow and a shock for me. The Man who made me want to do what I do and who has been a great inspiration has been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
Paul is a Showbusiness Legend and a National Treasure. Goodness know how he hasn't been honoured with an OBE yet. It was an honour to perform alongside him last year at my Cabaret Club.''
