Roll up for Musical Entertainment at This Year’s Hoppings…

Anyone planning to attend the biggest travelling funfair in Europe will find the news of an added attraction music to their ears.
The Hoppings will bring together 400 attractions to Newcastle’s Town Moor from June 16 to 25.
And along with the scores of rides, tests of skill and fun sideshows, visitors can also enjoy live music in the event’s newest addition – Feast Street.
Feast Street was launched last year to bring the best of street food to the event and this time round not only will there be more international cuisines to choose from, but it will also feature a whole host of performances from some of the region’s best loved entertainers.
Each night from 5pm to 9pm – bar Sundays where the musicians will be on stage from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday 18 June and from 4pm to 6pm on the closing night – visitors will be able to listen to live music.

Plans are also underway for kids’ club entertainment which will also take place each weekend in the Feast Street area, which will include appearances by costumed characters, mini discos and party games.
Ryan Crow of Crow Events believes the entertainment will add to the whole Hoppings experience.
“We had such a good response to Feast Street last year that we decided not just to do it again but to extend it and bring in the entertainment programme, which has something for everyone as well as showcasing North East talent,” he said."
