In the Park Newcastle presents Lewis Capaldi - Just Announced

In the Park has announced its return to Newcastle next summer, taking over Exhibition Park on Wednesday 8th July 2026 with global superstar Lewis Capaldi headlining. The show will mark Capaldi’s biggest-ever outdoor performance in the city.

The much-loved concert series will once again bring world-class live music to the heart of Newcastle, with Capaldi’s performance set to be one of the standout moments of the summer.

The announcement lands fresh off the back of his sold-out 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland, his first in two years, which has seen him thrilling fans with a hit-packed setlist and debuting new material that’s earned four- and five-star reviews from critics across the board. It also follows his sixth Number 1 single, with Survive becoming the fastest-selling single of the year to date.

In the Park 2026 is set to cement its status as one of the UK’s leading live music events, bringing landmark summer shows to Newcastle and Liverpool.
