In the Park Festival Newcastle: More Acts Announced

The countdown is on to a brand new show for the North East in 2024 - In the Park Festival is now just a few weeks away, and support has just been announced for both Tom Grennan on the Friday and Rag‘n’Bone Man on the Sunday. In addition, both shows are now family friendly and open to age 11 and over, due to popular demand. Taking over Newcastle’s Leazes Park on May Bank Holiday weekend, In the Park Newcastle already looks set to be a solid fixture on the city’s summer calendar, and the addition of even more talent has turned it up another level.

Headlining Friday’s edition is #1 platinum selling singer/songwriter Tom Grennan, and he’s set to be supported by Scottish rising star Brooke Combe, taking in a stop in Newcastle ahead of an intensely busy summer which sees her performing across the UK. That’s not all however, as there’s a very special guest still to be announced soon, an act who has set the live scene on fire in recent years with multiple sell-out shows across the UK and beyond – watch this space!

Sunday’s edition sees multi-award winning Rag’n’Bone Man headline, fresh off the back of his massive new single with Calvin Harris. He’ll be joined by special guest 5onger, the young rapper who burst onto the scene just a few years ago to massive critical acclaim. Also on the bill are Liverpool band Red Rum Club, with an array of sell out arenas already in the bag and undoubtedly one of the hottest indie bands in the country, and completing the line up is Newcastle born singer-songwriter, and brother to Sam, the hugely talented Liam Fender.

In the Park Festival Newcastle is an exciting new addition to the North East’s festival landscape, with the iconic St James’ Park as its stunning backdrop, there are few better locations to perform in the heart of the city.
