Pablo Eggs-Go-Bao Makes It Half a Dozen with New Pilgrim Street Store
Following openings in Newcastle, Sunderland, Whitley Bay, and Edinburgh, Pablo’s are launching their sixth restaurant in the UK and fourth in the North-East, bringing the people of the toon another chance to experience Pablo’s renowned bao’s and hash browns for themselves at the new, central location of 48 Pilgrim Street.
There, hungry Northerners will be able to get their hands on the full Pablo Eggs-Go-Bao's menu. This includes the bestselling Pablo’s Breakfast Bao with crispy hash brown, pork patty, melty cheese and soft omelette slathered with their classic spicy and sweet sauce – and, for non-meat eaters, the every-bit-as-tasty OG Veggie Bao. Both of which come served in the iconic big, super-soft, warm, beautiful, bouncy bao bun.
Launching Pablo's newest store at 7am on Monday 1 June will be Newcastle TikTokker Claire Armstrong whose ribbon-cutting role at the official opening of Pure Gym was famously replaced by a local councillor.
Queues are expected as word spreads that the first 75 customers at the hatch of the new store will each receive a free bao or hash box and a drink, with the next 75 customers saving 50% off their order.
Also invited along to the launch will be the winners of a special bao hunt, taking place Monday 25th May to Sunday 31st May. This will see 25 golden keyrings hidden at indie businesses throughout Newcastle city centre, with the locations revealed in advance on Pablo’s social channels, along with a secret code.
The first Pablo’s followers to whisper the secret code to participating cashiers will win a prize along with the golden Pablo’s key ring on the spot. If they bring their golden keyring to the launch, they’ll also receive a free bao of their choice, merchandise and a loyalty card entitling them to 25% off all orders for a year.

Pablo’s will be launching at 48 Pilgrim Street, Newcastle (NE1 6SF): Monday – Sunday 7am – 2pm.
Pablo’s also offers corporate breakfasts and lunches, with an entirely free delivery service.
