The opportunity to see how studying for a postgraduate degree could enhance your future career is on offer at Northumbria University, Newcastle next week.
Your Future is a week-long opportunity that will allow people to experience what studying for a postgraduate degree is really like.

They will give visitors the opportunity to sample lectures in several Masters programmes including Drug Design with Pharmaceutical Analysis, Nutritional Science, Psychology, Housing Policy and Management and Law.
A drop-in event will be held in Squires Building on Wednesday 26 March from 3pm – 6pm, in which teaching staff and current postgraduate students from all Faculties will be on hand to talk about the content of the programmes and the experience you might expect to gain from studying a postgraduate degree.
Staff will also be available to discuss the application process and offer advice on bursaries and finance options available.
Helen Fleming, Assistant Director for the Student Journey at Northumbria University, explained: “Northumbria offers a wide range of postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities, designed to offer students advanced skills relevant in today’s global workplace.
“Our open event will highlight the benefits of postgraduate study, including the potential to earn up to £200,000 more over a 40-year working life than those without postgraduate qualifications.
“The University provides opportunities for people to study conversion courses that broaden their knowledge, redevelop skills or retrain in a new field and take a new direction in their professional life.
