Oktoberfest Newcastle Six Times Better This Time Round
The opportunity to enjoy one of the world’s most iconic celebrations in the heart of Tyneside is bigger and better than ever before this autumn.
Oktoberfest Newcastle has become a must-do experience, bringing the very best of Bavaria to Times Square over three weekend.
And to ensure that nobody is disappointed and misses out on the sell-out event, each day is offering both an afternoon and an evening session this time round.
The area is being transformed into a 2000 capacity bierhaus, complete with benches decked in traditional tablecloths.
Guests will be able to clink steins full of beer and German lagers, eat frankfurters, bratwurst, currywurst and pretzels and listen to some of Europe’s best Oompah bands.
For the second time organisers, EVNT Inspirations have joined forces with premier German brewer, Brinkof, to partner with the event, which is the biggest one of its kind in the region.
Anyone who wants to dust off their lederhosen or don their dirndl is encouraged to do just that, giving them the opportunity to truly embrace the Oktoberfest experience.
The event will run on 10, 17 and 24 October with the afternoon sessions running from noon until 5.30pm and the evenings from 6pm to 11pm.
This is the seventh year Oktoberfest Newcastle has taken place, created by the region’s top events company, EVNT Inspirations which is behind hit experiences such as Paddy Fest, Newcastle’s Christmas Village and Moosenwirt.
Mike Hesketh of EVNT Inspirations said Oktoberfest got bigger and better every year.
“We are very proud of the fact we have created the biggest event of its kind in the North East,” he said.
“It has grown every single year and is always a sellout and the indications are this year will be exactly the same.
“It’s a huge party which everyone can join and really experience what Oktoberfest is all about on homeground.”
