NORTH EAST SALES MANAGER WINS NATIONAL AWARD

A  North East sales manager, who achieved record results after less than a year in the role, has been given a prestigious national award. Dionne Moy, who promotes conference and banqueting facilities at numerous venues operated by Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, has just been named Sales Manager of the Year for England at the Sodexo Prestige annual sales conference awards. The awards are held annually to recognise successes by Sodexo Prestige employees across the country and to reward them for their continued commitment and hard work. Dionne, who started as the firm’s Business Development Executive in May, beat off stiff competition from managers at 50 other sites across the UK to claim the title and was presented with a special glass trophy in a glittering ceremony at the  MV Harmony, part of the  Bateaux London dining cruise fleet. Judges were particularly impressed with the 31 year-old’s efforts at venues such as the Discovery Museum and the Great North Museum: Hancock, where Sodexo runs catering and events on behalf of Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and where Dionne has already exceeded her sales targets for 2012.
