New Quarters for Bella Italia at intu Eldon Square
- New £850,000 restaurant in Newcastle.

Newcastle is set to receive another portion of genuine Italian dining and hospitality, as Bella Italia will open the 3rd restaurant in the area. Already established nearby are Bella Gateshead, situated in Intu Metrocentre and Bella Silverlink, located in the Silverlink Retail Park. This opening comes to the new development of Intu Eldon Square - the Grey’s Quarter.
The £850,000 investment in the new restaurant will create 35 new jobs and whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner their generously portioned dishes will satisfy big appetites and create even bigger smiles.
Bella Italia Eldon Square will open with a brand new menu launched in September, featuring fresh and tasty ingredients sourced from genuine Italian-family run businesses including fresh pasta from the second generation Gaetarelli family and charcuterie from the fifth generation Rota family.
With 25 years’ experience Bela Italia are experts at pasta. That’s why they use a variety of pastas for different dishes. Pasta and sauce matching is a craft in Italy; one they are greatly passionate about. Their Carbonara has always held a special place in their hearts as a Bella favourite, but as a part of their new menu, they have introduced Fresh Tagliatelle pasta to the recipe, in a tasty carbonara sauce with crispy pancetta, leeks and Pecorino cheese.
Apart from the twist on classic Carbonara, be sure to try new additions to the range, like the Pollo Robiola - sunflower shaped Fresh Pasta filled with Robiola cheese and rocket with roasted chicken and creamy red pepper sauce.
As well as a great range of pastas, hand-stretched and crispy pizzas, look for new additions to the shot dessert range, featuring Strawberry Cannoli and Orange Cheesecake.
