New Position for Happy Yoga Newcastle...

A popular North East yoga company is set to open a new premises following a successful first year. Happy Yoga Newcastle, set up by Jo Hutton last year, will be holding all its classes at Curtis Mayfield House, Carliol Square, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, from the 25 May. The move is designed to bring all the company’s classes together under one roof and allow Happy Yoga Newcastle to increase the number of customers it can cater for. “Since I launched the business in 2014 it’s gone from strength to strength,” said Jo Hutton, founder of Happy Yoga Newcastle. “Yoga is a great way to get fit and have fun at the same time and our new premises will give us the chance to cater for even more people.” The classes, which will be held in the studio on the 4th floor, will range from beginners yoga to pregnancy yoga. “Yoga can do so many things for so many people,” said Jo. “Whether it’s helping people to escape from the stresses of day to day life or helping new mothers to combat postnatal depression, it’s great to see so many people benefitting from the Happy Yoga classes.” The profit that is raised at the new studio will go towards creating free online video tutorials for people who cannot attend classes because of mental health issues or financial reasons. Alongside the classes, the new studio will also host a number of social events targeted at young mothers to help them build a support network and reduce the chance of postnatal depression.
