Mowgli Street Food Unveils New Menu Across the UK

Mowgli Street Food has now launched a new seasonal menu across all its UK restaurants, bringing new additions to its offering of Indian home cooking and street food. This marks an exciting moment for Mowgli, with its biggest-ever menu launch since it first opened its doors in 2014.

Taking diners on a journey through Indian home cooking and street food, Mowgli’s new menu launch brings together its familiar favourites and an expanded selection of dishes, from standout grill offerings, street snacks and small plates to house kitchen curries and indulgent desserts. Designed to give guests more to explore across the menu, the new additions offer more ways to enjoy Mowgli, whether stopping by for a casual lunch, sharing plates with friends or settling in for dinner.

The new menu expands the grill offering, with the Mowgli Mixed Grill bringing together tandoori chicken thighs, chargrilled marinated lamb chops, crispy wings and spiced lamb koftas, served with a selection of house dips and made for sharing. Joining the grill line-up, the Lamb Kofta Kebabs feature tender lamb skewers seasoned with chilli, coriander and cumin, chargrilled until smoky. Other new additions across the menu include the Bombay Butter Prawns, served in a lightly spiced Indian butter sauce with green chilli and coriander, and the Mowgli Spice Bag, combining crispy fries, grilled onions and peppers tossed in chat masala with Mother Butter Sauce. The Masala Carrots, topped with green chutney, offer a sweet, spiced addition to the menu.

Among the new desserts, Mowgli is reimagining one of its most recognisable dishes with the Chocolate & Sour Cherry Chat Bombs. Giving its iconic savoury chat bombs a sweet twist, the new version features crisp puff breads filled with rich chocolate and cherry, topped with crushed biscuits. Also joining the menu is the Sticky Ginger Toffee Pudding, bringing a much-loved nostalgic English dessert into Mowgli’s world of Indian flavours, pairing warm ginger sponge with rich sticky toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Founded in Liverpool in 2014 by Nisha Katona, Mowgli Street Food has grown from a standalone restaurant into a UK-wide group of 26 restaurants. Rooted in the idea of Indian home cooking, Mowgli brings together informal dining, dishes inspired by the homes and streets of India, and food designed for sharing and discovery.

The new menu is now available across all Mowgli Street Food restaurants, as of 26 October 2026.
