LOCAL LADIES ROCK THE TYNE

Ladies Who Rock has announced the 2nd annual event in aid of the Prince’s Trust on Friday 18th October 2013. Following the success of their first event, this year the Ladies go contemporary and are proud to be hosting in BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, one of the most iconic buildings in the North East of England and Baltic Square on the south side of the River Tyne. The event which is aimed at prominent women in the North East has gained an enviable reputation for fun, fashion and glamour and is supported by prestige local businesses such as Deloitte and Olivers Dental Studio. Guests can expect a sparkling reception, a three course lunch with wine, and a fashion show featuring Barbour, Fenwick and Love Niche. A Young Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust and GMTV star and Prince’s Trust Celebrity Ambassador Anna Williamson will address the event before impressionist and comedian Alistair McGowan brings down the auctioneer’s gavel on a dazzling range of luxuries money can’t buy. Spectacular performances in the contemporary form of dance and music will take place throughout the day as guests are treated to a selection of local cheeses and port. The Prince’s Trust was founded in 1976 by HRH the Prince of Wales to give practical and financial support to disadvantaged 13 to 30-year-olds and help them develop workplace skills to improve their employment prospects. Tickets for Ladies Who Rock enter each guest into a prize draw for an amazing diamond pendant and earring set worth £4000 donated by Newcastle Jeweller Berrys. Bookings can be made at www.ladieswho.org or by contacting Lynn on 0191 384 1118. Tickets cost £1000 per table of 10 individual tickets are also available at £100 each.
