Epic New Bar Incoming - Flight Club Opening Date Revealed!
Flight Club, the lively fairground-inspired Social Darts bar, has confirmed today that it will open its doors in Newcastle on 7 November and reveals a sneak peek of what the new bar is set to look like. The opening of the eagerly awaited bar comes perfectly timed for Christmas and New Year get-togethers with friends, family and colleagues, and bookings are now open.
Promising to bring a one-of-a-kind bar and social experience to Newcastle, Flight Club is built around bringing groups of friends together for an unforgettable time. When it lands at Eldon Square this autumn, Newcastle will be treated to a stunning bar with a buzzing atmosphere, serving up gorgeous cocktails, tasty sharing dishes and bundles of unexpected, ridiculous, joy.
So, what does a night out at Flight Club look like?
The setting
All of Flight Club’s venues are designed to look spectacular, inspired by traditional fairgrounds. Think carnival-style lights that blink in time to the music, carousel horses, and little touches throughout that evoke all the nostalgia of a load of fun at the fair.
The scran
The food and drinks on offer consist of crowd-pleasing sharers like sourdough pizza paddles and small plates, and a mix of signature cocktails and classics with a twist.
The vibe
This is a place where you can bond with your besties at brunch, catch up with colleagues over a post-work cocktail or dance with your ride-or-dies to banging DJ sets late into the night. And of course, the day or night option to go wild and unleash your competitive side with a spot of Social Darts.
The games
Flight Club has given the game of darts a serious makeover. Its version – Social Darts – is made for groups and can be played by literally anyone, whether a darts sniper or total novice. This revamped darts for the 21st Century uses an injection of clever tech to deliver fast-paced, immersive games, auto-scoring and loads of on-screen action like hilarious, shareable replays of the best moments where groups of up to 12 can play on each oche.
