Dennis Menaces his way to intu Eldon Square

The summer is set to be full of mischief as intu Eldon Square brings shoppers pranks, jokes and tricks with the chief troublemaker from The Beano, Dennis the Menace! A Beano bonanza is taking over the shopping centre, and shoppers will need to watch their backs as the mischief unfolds, including free fun face painting, and lots of fun and surprises. The master prankster Dennis the Menace made special appearances at intu Eldon Square (this week) having fun with young shoppers, and snapping pictures with them to make it a super summer they won’t forget. All visitors joining in the fun during August will also get to take home a FREE intu edition of The Beano. In addition, one lucky shopper could be appearing in an edition of The Beano! Menaces everywhere will want to bag this prize, where one lucky shopper and a friend will be turned into characters in The Beano and star alongside Dennis and Gnasher for one very special edition. To enter, check out the intu Eldon Square Facebook app #MyMenace. Joan Taylor,  Marketing Manager at intu Eldon Square, said: “Dennis was up to his usual pranks, jokes and mischief during his visit, much to the enjoyment of our shoppers!" The Beano Takeover is taking place across 15 intu centres across the UK this summer, with mischievous fun for shoppers of all ages.
