Dave's Hot Chicken Makes North East Debut in the Toon this May
After building a global following for its crave-worthy Nashville-style hot chicken, Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to make its Newcastle debut this May. Opening in Grey’s Quarter at Eldon Square, the new restaurant will bring the brand’s iconic spice scale and fan-favourite menu to the North East for the first time.
Known for its bold Nashville-style hot chicken and laid-back West Coast atmosphere, Dave’s Hot Chicken has become one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in the world. The Newcastle opening marks another major step in the brand’s UK expansion, bringing its cult-favourite menu and signature heat levels to one of the North East’s busiest shopping and dining destinations.
To celebrate the launch, Dave’s Hot Chicken will also be giving away 200 FREE sliders to customers on opening day who sign up to the Dave’s Hot Chicken app here. The giveaway will be available on a first come, first served basis from the Newcastle restaurant on Friday 22nd May.
The new restaurant will offer a fast-casual dining experience designed for everything from grab-and-go lunches to late-night bites, complete with Dave’s signature old-school soundtrack and vibrant branding. Guests can expect fresh-to-order chicken tenders and sliders, served across the brand’s famous seven-level spice scale, ranging from Not Hot to the infamous Reaper level (waiver required).
Alongside its signature chicken, the Newcastle menu will feature classic sides including mac & cheese, kale slaw, and loaded fries, as well as a range of creamy loaded shakes and fruity slushers.
