COMEDY TAKES CENTRE STAGE IN THE NORTH EAST’S BIGGEST PANTOMIME!

The wow factor is back in Newcastle and surprises galore are in store with this year’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk – The Giant Pantomime Spectacular, at the Theatre Royal. Theatre favourites Clive Webb (Farmer Trot), Danny Adams (Jack) and Chris Hayward (Dame Rita Trot) return in another unmissable show packed with an abundance of laughter, spectacular sets and stunning costumes! Oh - and some very magical beans! Clive Webb and Danny Adams have topped the bill at the Theatre Royal pantomime for the last eight years, making them house hold names across the North East. The Theatre Royal pantomimes are famous for being the fastest-selling in the UK and are regarded in the business as one of the best pantos in the country! Danny and Clive are supported as always by the North East’s best dressed Dame, Chris Hayward, in his 29th panto appearance, this time as Dame Rita Trot, the most glamorous of pantomime dames. The adorable babes from local dance school, Marron Theatre Arts, will also return, now firmly fixed as a panto staple. Featuring more comedy than you can shake a bag of magic beans at, outrageous costumes, fabulous sets, a huge beanstalk…with one very mean giant at the top of it! The traditional elements of family pantomime combine with amazing visual effects, including a fantastic 3D enchanted forest and a journey through the Giant’s castle, have all been created to take the Theatre Royal pantomime into yet another dimension! All signs point towards another record breaking pantomime as sales are currently 8.8% higher than this time last year.  Sales have already hit the milestone £1million, one month sooner than last year’s record breaking pantomime, Aladdin.
