Changing Lives Set to Host Fourth Annual Comedy Night at The Stand
Changing Lives is bringing the laughter back to Newcastle this spring as it hosts its fourth annual Stand Up for Changing Lives comedy night at The Stand Comedy Club Newcastle on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
Now firmly established in the charity’s fundraising calendar, the much-loved event promises a fantastic evening of live stand-up comedy all in support of people facing the challenges of homelessness across Newcastle.
Every ticket sold will help Changing Lives continue its vital work in the city, where demand for support remains high. The charity provides specialist services for people experiencing homelessness, offering accommodation, outreach, and tailored support to help people rebuild their lives and move towards a safe and fulfilling future.
Alice Fisher, Senior Fundraiser at Changing Lives, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be returning to The Stand for our fourth annual comedy night. It’s a brilliant opportunity to bring people together for a great night out, while also raising vital funds for people in Newcastle who are facing the realities of homelessness.
No one grows up dreaming of being homeless. But with the right support, lives can and do change. Every ticket purchased helps us continue providing that support right here in our city.”
The Stand Up for Changing Lives event will feature a line-up of top comedians in one of Newcastle’s most iconic comedy venues. Guests can expect a lively atmosphere, big laughs, and the chance to make a real difference locally.
Early ticket booking is strongly encouraged.
