Banyan Newcastle Team Takes Centre Stage at Company-Wide Nobody Does It Better Awards During First Ever ‘Arc in the Park’ Summer Festival
Arc Inspirations, the award-winning bar group, has announced the winners of the company’s annual Nobody Does It Better Awards, which recognise the unsung heroes in the business – and the team at Banyan Newcastle were named Bar Team of the Year.
The awards ceremony took place recently at the first ever ‘Arc in the Park’, a company-wide festival, where the company closed all of its sites for one day so that more than 1,000 team members could enjoy an exclusive, unforgettable festival experience, with drinks, food and music provided courtesy of suppliers and partners.
Over 25 accolades were awarded to colleagues across all areas of the company, showcasing the incredible work and dedication of Arc’s Floortenders, Bartenders, Front of House, Kitchen, Management and Operations teams.
With a main stage of live performances all day at Arc in the Park, music came from Urban Soul Family Gospel Choir, Gypsies of Bohemia, New York Brass Band, Kristix Drumming and Sweet on Sax, with Brewdog, Britvic and Molson Coors providing bars offering wine, spirit mixers, beer, cider, hard seltzers and soft drinks.
Team members were able to choose from a range of delicious street food options, including pizzas, burgers and tacos, and enjoyed an array of garden games and a silent disco, as well as cheering on their colleagues during the awards ceremony.

Arc Inspirations operates 19 premium bars across the Midlands and the North of England, under the brands of Banyan Bar & Kitchen, BOX and Manahatta. The business posted record revenues for its most recent financial year (year ending 31st March 2022), and recently launched its largest BOX venue to date, in Brindleyplace, Birmingham. The company is planning to open at least four more sites in a ‘transformational’ next twelve months including Box in Nottingham, and Manahatta in Newcastle, with their ambition to open 50 sites by 2030.
