An ‘elfy way to start your day!

Families from throughout the North East are dusting off their elf costumes for the second intu Elf Run planned for Sunday 6December at intu Eldon Square. Last Christmas, over 1,000 eager elves took to the city centre shopping mall to take part in the 1km charity fun run, and this year, organisers are expecting even larger numbers. Entry to the event costs £10 per child, which includes an elf T-shirt and hat, an ‘official helper’ certificate from Santa and a runner’s medal. Participating elves are also being encouraged to fundraise on behalf of The Percy Hedley Foundation, and to also bring in unwrapped presents for Santa to distribute to children in the North East.
