All Aboard the SS American for 'Anything Goes'

Multi award winning Newcastle based WEOS Musical Productions, who are celebrating their 75th year, are proud to present their latest musical, Cole Porter’s ‘Anything Goes’ at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House, Newcastle from 23rd-26th April this year.
‘Anything Goes’, which first made its debut in 1934 on Broadway, is a love story featuring well known songs such as ‘I Get a Kick out of You’, ‘Anything Goes’ performed effortlessly by Lucy Sutton as leading lady Reno Swenney and ‘Buddie Beware’ performed by Sarah McKinnell playing the playful Erma. Audiences are in for a fun, frivolous and exciting journey as they watch the frolics and antics aboard the ocean liner S.S. American bound from New York to London.
The show is directed and choreographed by Sandra Laidler and Carl Luke as co-director, and WEOS are delighted to welcome back Hannah Ellis Brown (‘Best Individual in a Musical’ in the Northern Region for her performance of Eva Peron in Evita for WEOS), playing the coy heiress Hope Harcourt. The show promises to be as fantastic as WEOS’ last year’s production of ‘Evita’ which won 4 awards at the prestigious NODA Awards (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) including Best Musical for the North Region.
The six performances run from Wednesday 23rd April to Saturday 26th April with a start time of 7pm, matinees on Thursday and Saturday 2pm. Tickets are available at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House and range from £15 - £25 depending on availability.
