A sweet addition to Life Science Centre this Easter

Join the Life Science Centre for some Easter fun and indulge in the wonderful chocolate workshop!

Attention chocoholics: Life Science Centre’s chocolate workshops are back by popular demand!

Hop on down to Life Science Centre in Newcastle’s city centre this Easter weekend (14-17 April) to indulge your curiosity and learn why we love chocolate so much – and yes, there’ll be a chance to taste some too! To take part, simply sign up to a session at the reception desk upon arrival.

“Chocolate is on everyone’s mind at this time of year, so it’s the perfect time to join us at Life to find out all about how our favourite sweet snack is made!” said Elin Roberts, Head of Public Engagement at Life Science Centre.

Once you’ve had your fill of chocolate, take a (leisurely) stroll over to our popular LEGO® brick exhibitions, Brick History and North East LEGO® Landmark s – you won’t have many more chances before they leave the Science Centre next month.

Those feeling brave can grab a seat on the 4D Motion Ride* and experience new adventure Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – chase over Atlantis**, which features an all-star cast, including Michael Caine, Dwayne Johnson and Vanessa Hudgens.

Another highlight is our new Science Theatre show Let it Glow, which explores the wonder of light using shadow puppets, plasma balls and rainbow-filled smoke.

What makes all of this a particularly tasty option for a day out during the school holidays is the reassurance that all of these activities and more are included in the admission price to Life Science Centre.

*Please note – you must be 1.2 metres in height to use the 4D Motion Ride

** This is a shortened version of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – Chase over Atlantis which has been specially adapted for Motion Rides (not the whole film).
