Life joins Metro Radio’s ‘Mission Christmas’ Campaign

Visitors heading to Life Science Centre for a whirl on the ice rink or to check out the BODY WORLDS Vital exhibition over the next few weeks can help spread a little Christmas joy by supporting Metro Radio’s Mission Christmas Appeal in aid of Cash for Kids. Mission Christmas aims to supply Christmas presents to sick and disadvantaged young people in the North East.  The charity is appealing for donations of new gifts suitable for ages 0-18 with drop off points across the region, including Life Science Centre. Across the North East there are thousands of children living in poverty that will be waking up on Christmas morning to an empty space beneath the tree.  Mission Christmas aims to make their Christmas morning that little bit brighter. Any donated gifts can be dropped off in the Mission Christmas donation box at Life’s Science Centre Reception.  (Mission Christmas requests that any donations are unwrapped; so there is no need to dig out the sellotape!)
