Students in Newcastle are in for a treat this Freshers Season as Fayre Play joins forces with local burger heroes BURGER-DROP to launch the ultimate student event at The Gate.
On Thursday (18th September), students can get their hands on an iconic BURGER-DROP burger for just £2, before enjoying Fayre Play’s nostalgic gameplay for only £5, at Newcastle’s newest competitive socialising venue.
Starting from 12noon until late, the event promises big crowds and an unbeatable atmosphere – with students urged to arrive early to secure their spot. All you need to do is show a valid student card on arrival to claim the offer, which is valid on walk-ins only (limited to 1 burger and 18 games tokens per person).
Founded in 2020, Burger Drop is known for its smashed patties, fresh ingredients and signature brioche buns – quickly becoming a cult favourite on the Newcastle food scene. The return of the £2 burger has proven hugely popular in past years, and this marks its first time being served inside the brand-new BURGER-DROP premises at Fayre Play.
The launch coincides with the brand-new Fayre Play student deal, where students can enjoy all nine nostalgic fairground games twice over plus any cocktail (or drink of choice) for just £14.95pp – making it the ultimate student night out.
