Out of the Trees Festival 10th Birthday: The Head of Steam
To celebrate 10 years of the Out of the Trees Festival over in Warkworth, Northumberland and to launch its final incarnation, on Tuesday December 30th Newcastles Head of Steam (opposite Central Station) will play host to Brighton noise popsters Tyrannosaurus Dead, Skull Puppies, Baker Island and Rushers of Din with DJs spinning discs into the early hours afterwards. This special gig is free entry for those with festival tickets (which can be bought on the doors on the evening).
Those who cant make it to the main festival pay £3 entry on the doors for the launch party, with the event running from 7PM to 2AM. Those who cant attend the launch can purchase a festival ticket covering all three Out of the Trees venues and including a spot on the bus which will be available from RPM in Newcastle from the 1st December, at a bargain price of £15.

Like the other Newcastle pubs, this is not at a station and does not have the railway theme. It has a unique layout the 2 bars are on the first floor and in the basement! No bar on the ground floor - only the toilets, beer cellar and offices.
