GREAT NORTH MUSEUM: HANCOCK
A massive congratulations to Great North Museum: Hancock! This cultural hotspot fought off fierce competition to win Best Medium Museum at the Family Friendly Museum Awards 2019! Created by the Kids in Museums charity, the annual award recognises cultural spaces and historic heritage sites across the UK that go that extra step to provide a fantastic experience for visitors. In the spring, families across the country voted for their favourite attraction in an online poll. Over 800 nominations were included in the voting, and Great North Museum: Hancock came out on top. Well done, folks!
NATIONAL FINALIST - MY DELHI
One for curry-lovers! My Delhi has reached the final stage of The Asian Restaurants and Takeaway Awards! The recently-opened restaurant on Clayton Street is a quirky eatery offering diners authentic Indian food and drink inspired by the streets of Delhi! Award partner, ChefOnline surveyed more than 350,000 customers before announcing that the restaurant had been included in the final shortlist! And that's not all... My Delhi is also a finalist in the National Newcomer of the Year award. Good luck team!
SEARCH FOR SANTA 2019
The super popular Search for Santa returns on November 30 2019. After last year’s amazing event, we’ve teamed up with Active Newcastle to run another free Search for Santa Trail for this Christmas, with 200 spots up for grabs.
