MUSEUM OF THE MOON
Until 6 May
Don’t miss Life Science Centre’s out-ofthis-world exhibition, Museum of the Moon - a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight and surround sound composition, created by award-winning composer Dan Jones. The works displays the lunar surface in incredible detail on a seven-metre-wide sphere that’s suspended in the air. Massive, magnificent and mesmerising, it uses imagery captured by the NASA spacecraft Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and, at an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the sphere represents five kilometres of the Moon’s surface.
