Everything You Need To Know About Oktoberfest 2021 Newcastle

Last updated:

Oktoberfest returns to Newcastle in style as this iconic german festival lands in its adopted home in Times Square for two huge weekends of epic vibes, authentic german treats, mega pop-up events and collaborations, and a whole host of bavarian-themed fun!

Over the weekends of 15/16 and 22/23 October, round up your gang, clash steins with strangers, shout 'prost!' and celebrate all weekend long in a huge Bavarian beer tent taking over the entirety of Times Square! Filled with traditional blue and white decor, Oktoberfest 2021 will take to the Toon in style as the city plays host to the electric atmosphere of Let's Play Darts! on 21 October before welcoming the euphoric sounds of Kroud Karaoke on 22 October for a scintillating Friday night shindig!

Want to get involved in this bold Bavarian blowout that’s heading to the Toon? Well, listen up! Here are all the key details you need to know! The giant, weather-proof Bierhalle taking over Times Square will welcome revellers from Friday 6:00pm - 11:30pm, and Saturday’s shindig gets underway from 12:00pm all the way through to 11:45pm, with visitors flocking to Times Square to enjoy a carnival weekend of German culture!

Whether you’re heading out as a dynamic duo or hitting the streets with an army of 24, there's a number of table options when it comes to rounding up the troops! What's more? Each golden ticket costs just £10pp and includes a complimentary beer or cocktail upon entry. Talk about getting the party started!

With live oompah bands thumping out tunes all night long, book your tickets now and get set for an exhilarating day spent drinking authentic Bavarian beers, eating copious amounts of Bratwurst sausages whilst dressed in lederhosen, (or any fancy dress for that matter!) as you sing and dance away on the benches under a fully themed, proper Bavarian party tent! It’s going to be Oompah-lievable!
