Disney On Ice Adds Two Extra Shows Due to Outstanding Public Demand
Disney On Ice’s cool new ice show is proving to be a very hot ticket indeed!
After responding to public demand in September by adding another night to the North East leg of the UK tour, the ice extravaganza is now almost sold out, and organisers have added another two performances at 2.30 pm on Thursday 9 December and 12 noon on Friday 10 December. Tickets go on sale for the additional shows at 9 am on Friday 22 October.
As soon as tickets went on pre-sale for this year’s ice spectacular at the Utilita Arena Newcastle, sales went into overdrive, selling out 50% of available tickets within the first week, with families eager to book their seats for the new ice show coming to Tyneside this December.
Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero is a magical adventure for the whole family. Featuring more than 50 Disney characters, this production includes something for everyone, from modern tales to timeless classics!
Audiences will discover what it truly means to be a hero as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and friends from around the Disney Kingdom come together to take families on a journey through timeless tales when Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero skates into the Utilita Arena Newcastle from 8-12 December this year.

“Disney On Ice is always a hugely popular attraction here in the North East and constantly attracts very healthy audience numbers, but this year’s show has seen unprecedented ticket sales.
“We’ve checked our records, and Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero is the quickest selling show since Disney On Ice presents Frozen in 2015, which ended up completely selling out.
“Fans clearly missed Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy last year, and are very much looking forward to seeing their favourite stars again in Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero, showcasing much-loved scenes from Moana, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel and Frozen.
“By adding two new performances on at 2.30 pm on Thursday 9 December and 12 noon on Friday 10 December, we will hopefully not have to disappoint fans who have become concerned that they will have to miss out this year. These times are perfect for pre-schoolers to come along with parents or grandparents to catch their favourite stars on ice in the hottest show of the season.”
