Camel: Tyne Theatre & Opera House

Progressive rock band, Camel will be performing in NE1 on Saturday 8th September 2018 at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House. 

Camel will be performing their 1976 album Moonmadness in its entirety, plus many other classics.

Led by founding member Andrew Latimer, they have produced fourteen original studio albums, fourteen singles plus numerous compilation and live albums. The band's music combines elements from jazz, classical, Baroque music, blues and electronic music.

Upon release, Moonmadness left its mark on the UK Top 20 albums chart, going on to become certified silver. In the Q & Mojo Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock, the album was included in its list of the best “40 Cosmic Rock Albums” and voted no. 58 in the Top 100 Prog Albums of All Time by readers of ‘Prog’ magazine in 2014.
